What is Blue Spanish?
Blue Spanish is a complimentarty Spanish teaching project through zoom video calls and social media platforms.
Who created Blue Spanish?
It was created by Hamid Mazinani, a student at the Universidat de Barcelona, as part of an ongoing project in the Teaching Spanish as Second Language Masters degree.
We are creating spaces in order to practice language teaching skills by testing new materials and methodologies. By joining these classes, not only will you be learning Spanish from Basic to Advanced levels but will also be a part of a community of like minded people and support in order to succeed!
All classes will be recorded and the content will be public and may be used on social media.
📎 Immersion
Classes will be conducted in Spanish, and English will be used as a last resort. However, classes will be adapted for beginners who are just kicking off their Spanish learning journey! Gestures, sounds, and images will be used to help understand and learn the Spanish language.
📚 Material
We use a curriculum called Aula Latina, which is also used by prestigious language academies in Latin America. We adapt the content to a digital white board to make it more interactive for students.
📅 Schedule
Since the Blue Spanish project is complimentary, we use our free time to help others through the project. This will allow a limited time to teach Spanish on evenings and weekends, only! It means we do not have a set schedule, but we will post the info at least three days prior the class. Recording of the class will be available a few hours later. (CDT) Time in Chicago, US.
